Es interesante señalar que esta lengua "solo tiene un morfema locativo general para marcar distintos tipos de relaciones topológicas que también se usa ampliamente en los eventos de moción para marcar distintos roles", razón por la cual se precisa de una frase nominal locativa que sufija este morfema locativo de acuerdo con varios factores, uno de los cuales, la pragmática, determina la interpretación del rol de la frase nominal locativa. Así, se exploran los recursos gramaticales del baure "para codificar los eventos de moción y mostrar que el verbo puede proporcionar pistas relevantes para la interpretación de roles locales".
